OHV is regulated by the
Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). The AFM is the authority responsible for independent supervision of the markets for savings, loans, investments and insurance for both professional and private investors. The AFM has granted OHV the following licences:

Section 2:96 a: investment services licence to accept and pass on orders;

Section 2:96 b: investment services licence to execute orders for a client's account;

Section 2:96 c: investment services licence as asset manager;

Section 2:96 d: investment services licence for the supply of Investment advice.
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) - The Dutch Central Bank is responsible for monitoring financial stability in the Netherlands. It focuses on three main areas: low inflation, secure payment transactions and the solidity and integrity of financial institutions. All OHV'S operations come under the Financial Supervision Act (Wet Financieel Toezicht) which the DNB monitors and controls.

Association Cambiste Internationale (ACI Nederland) | ACI is a leading association of financial professionals with a global reach. The association contributes to market development by holding courses and issuing certification and through market applications, technical advice and network events. There are about 13,000 international members drawn from over 60 countries.
Dutch Securities Institute (DSI, participant no. 5601) | The object of the DSI is to foster consumer confidence in the financial markets by maintaining a register of persons qualified to work in financial services. These persons must have met specified requirements in terms of expertise, integrity and professional experience. The register is open to public consultation. DSI also performs pre-employment and in-employment screening (DSI PES) for those working in the financial industry on other posts where personal integrity is indispensable. The DSI also offers an alternative dispute resolution service in respect of investment-related disputes between professional parties in the financial industry. It facilitates the Disputes and Disciplinary Committee and the Appeals Committee.
